An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Teaching Assistant (Access Communication Support Worker) to join our school. This post will work as part of the school team, but primarily be responsible for providing support for an individual student who is visually impaired.

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and patient person with a good general education to work with students in our Special Needs Department.

The work will involve supporting students in class, aged 11-16 who have special educational needs (both learning andbehavioural difficulties). The role may also include small group and one-to-one teaching as well as delivering non-curriculum interventions. Our well-established Teaching Assistant team will provide training and support for the successful candidates.
