Careers Support

We hold the Platinum Quality in Careers Standard. The school employs a full time Level 6 qualified Careers Advisor Coordinator who provides individual appointments to students, and also offers lunchtime drop-in sessions which every student across the whole school can access all-year round. Work experience takes place in Years 10 and 12. Each year we hold an Enterprise and Employability Day, which teaches students employability skills such as teamwork, communication and problem solving. In addition, lots of local employers run mock interviews with pupils.

Careers trips: Subject Leaders organise trips related to their curriculum, These include visits to workplaces, colleges, universities and the annual Universities and Apprenticeships Fair for 6th Form students.
